Family Storytime with ToR Kids
The Town of Rochester has some very inspiring, talented, and creative kids. We had a joyful morning at Little Ones Learning Center yesterday with several little ones while reading Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner, a fun story that encourages kids to explore the winter landscape and discover wildlife that remains active when much of nature sleeps. After the story, children and their parents alike made some nature-based crafts including dried flower suncatchers and wood cookie animals and forest scenes. We were lucky enough to have the very talented Faye Forman (from our wreath making workshop) join us again for the craft time.
The Town of Rochester is filled with caring community members who love this place. It is such an uplifting experience to catch a glimpse of what’s possible in our next generation.
